It’s been a long, hot summer! We had a little break from visitors for a couple of months, but now it’s time to open the gates at Windrush Alpacas again! Come on out to Open Farm Day, Saturday, September 9 between 10 am and 3 pm. We missed seeing you!
Our owners will tour you around our farm, tell you all about raising these gentle, soft fleeced animals and give you a chance to get close to some of our herd. You may even get a chance to feed an alpaca! The alpacas love visitors, so be ready to take pictures! We’ve got a couple of alpacas who love to pose – and some like to photo bomb too!
Stop in at the Farm Store, too! Our shelves are fully stocked with a nice variety of alpaca socks, scarves, toys, cushions and more! Feel the softness of alpaca fibers in our products. And be prepared to purchase some nice warm socks for the cooler months ahead. We’ll have light refreshments at the Farm Store, too.
