Alpacas Are Awesome! Find Out Why!

Bring your whole family to Windrush Alpacas on Saturday, March 10, 2012 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for our Free Open Farm Day Experience! Alpacas are awesome for so many reasons! They’re cute, entertaining and smart. They’re easy to tend to and raise. And their fleece is super soft and warmer than wool allowing a plethora of luxurious items to be created for our comfort.

We at Windrush Alpacas would love to introduce you to the world of alpacas through our guided pasture tours and educational demonstrations. Then browse our Farm Store collection of alpaca products – some items made from our very own alpacas – including our famous socks, gloves, hand-loomed rugs and more. And if you’d rather craft your own, we also offer yarns, roving, batting and needle felting kits. We also sell alpaca fiber bird-nesting balls which are a great way to help our feathered friends start building their nests for spring!

Round up your visit with some light snacks – together with our special alpaca themed coffee – and friendly conversation. We always offer free admission, free parking and free refreshments.

So come on out for an out-of-the-ordinary, fun, family adventure!
